Aww, I had forgotten. Thanks for the reminder!

Marilyn certainly was a special lady!

the 2nd and 4th pics are just amazing. i am not a huge Marilyn fan per se' but i can totally appreciate what it is about her that makes her still so fascinating after all these years. her early death was such a shame.

I like that top picture..the blog,"If Charlie Parker was a gunslinger, there'd be a whole lot of dead copycats"posts alot of candid fotos like that of Marilyn which give you a good look into the real person..

I've guessed it. It's Marilyn Monroe. What do I win?

Millie-- No problem. I was reminded myself. :)

Artman-- I'm not really a huge fan of hers either, but share your view...she made huge contributions to the history of movies and was a special gal.

Christopher-- Thanks! I'll check it out...I love "real" pictures of her.

Matthew-- Congrats! You win a Marilyn tote. ;)

Speaking of Judy Garland, please take a moment and visit The Judy Garland Experience on Yahoo.
The Judy Garland Experience is the world's largest, and most exciting, Judy Garland group.
The group features an ever changing plethora of rare music files, thousands of candid, intimate, and never before published photos, polls, games with Judy prizes, and more!
The membership features Garland family members, people who knew and worked with Judy, author's, historian's, celebrities, and fan's from all levels. The only one missing is you.
This week in the audio section of the group we are featuring Judy's "lost" studio album, her salute to Jerome Kern, a vintage radio program about the Carnegie Hall album, Judy with Arthur Treacher, Judy's appearance on Tune Up Time, Lorna Luft in concert at Carnegie Hall, an unreleased Nina Simone concert from the 70's, and much, much more!
Please stop by and check the group out, I promise you will never want to leave!

Juliette: I am looking at these photos of Ms. Monroe and listening to Chet Baker (I'm guessing) via your soundtrack.

You have chosen all shots of this girl that make her look lovely, not available and easy (as was the want of the media, then and now). What a pretty, fresh girl, free of camera opression -- Mykal

Yep-- that's good old Chet. :)

Oh good, I'm glad you think so. I know there are many pictures out there of the latter type, but none on my computer, as I don't think that's how she was in life. Thanks for the kind comment.
